Miguel joins the show and shares the story of his 11 years in prison, leading one of the largest gangs in Texas, being homeless at age 13, finding and following Christ while in prison, helping the youth of today, how martial arts has helped him along the way, and how a phone call from his significant other changed the direction of his life.
Miguel is a purple belt in jiujitsu at Renzo Gracie DFW and helps coach.
Jimmy shares how Miguel was one of the first people to welcome Jimmy onto the mats and how Miguel turned Jimmy into a highlight reel.
He shares how, when he was out of prison, he almost returned to his old ways, but a very important phone call changed his life direction.
